About Allison

Hi there, my name is Allison! I'm 25 years old and started out in mechanical engineering, but have found my way into childcare through my love of hands-on learning and teaching. I'm looking for primarily seasonal work as I spend time with family over the summer. In the past, I worked as Makerspace Director for Boys and Girls Club with kids aged 6-12. I've also worked in conventional babysitting settings, for camps, and within school environments. My focus with your child is giving them a safe routine and structure in with space to explore their creative interests, learn, and grow. I love engaging in creative building and design, baking, and exploring when appropriate to. In my own time, I like to draw and cartoon, explore the natural world, and play the banjo. I have a car and have prior training in child development, CPR, and first aid.
