About Allison

I'd describe my personality as kind, reliable, supportive I like tutoring because I enjoy helping children build their confidence and understanding of various areas of study. I'm looking for a job that allows me to help children learn and unlock their potential. I have been working in an elementary school for the last year. I specialize in small group learning, which really allows for students to get the help they need. In my spare time, I like to read, go see Broadway plays, and spend time with children. One thing you should know about me is that I am both a mom and educator, so I understand the educational content, as well as how to get through to children in a nurturing way. My skills include small group instruction, special education instruction, working with children from ages 6-13, and a calm, nurturing demeanor.
