About Allison

Hello future students and families. I am a local 5th grade teacher. I know a large classroom can be a difficult environment for students to be their most successful. I can bring my expertise and experience to expand their learning at home. A passion of mine is to make learning fun while also valuable. I prefer to tutor students online and can be more flexible with my hours that way. But I can also host students in my home or visit students in their own home. I love helping students find their own potential. Every student is capable, and I strive to support them in this and push them to believe in themselves. Tutoring, students individually and in small groups allows me to focus on their individual needs and ways of learning. One thing you should know about me is I love to read and I love to help students find their own joy in reading. In my own classroom I have over 1, 000 books and have never met a student that I have not been able to find at least one book that they loved.
