Allison is high energy and was kind with the kids. However, after two weeks — and just days before my return to work — she shared that she was stepping away from nannying and moving into a different field without notice. While I respect her honesty, the timing was very difficult for our family after hiring and training. I do wish we had known earlier that this role might be temporary so we could have planned accordingly. Our home requires consistency and following established routines, so families seeking long-term reliability should ensure expectations and commitment are clearly aligned and have backup care in place.
