About Allison

I'm a licensed special education teacher with 4 years of experience. I have a bachelors degree in Early Childhood Special Education (birth-2nd grade), a master's degree in special education generalist (kindergarten-21 years old). As well as a graduate certificate in teaching students with Autism. My experince includes working with children with Autism, intellectual disabilities, ADHD, visual impairments, and complex/multiple disabilities. I'm comfortable supporting highly individualized needs, including AAC devices (high- and low-tech), significant medical and behavioral needs, wheelchair mobility, and personal care including toileting. I provide calm, patient, compassionate, and engaging care for all ages from children to adults. I'm also comfortable caring for multiple individuals and can assist with transportationh, swimming supervision, light housekeeping, errands, and travel.
