About Aliyah

I am a high school special education ELA inclusion teacher with a strong passion for supporting diverse learners and helping students build both confidence and skills. I hold a Master's in Urban Education from Providence College and a Master's in Special Education from the University of Rhode Island, along with a Dyslexia Knowledge & Practice Certificate. In my classroom, I work closely with students of varying abilities, providing individualized support, adapting instruction, and creating an inclusive, encouraging environment where all students can succeed. I have experience with reading intervention, writing support, executive functioning skills, and social-emotional learning.
