About Alissa

I'd describe my personality as kind, loving and patient. I'm looking for a job that can help a family breathe and provide a safe caring environment where kids can be kids. I started working with kids when I was 12. My mother had a daycare for 27 years and I grew up to become many of their first teenage babysitters. In my spare time, I like to read and journal. I like to draw and paint. I also like to bake. One thing you should know about me is my faith is the center. I find the positive in every situation and like to make people smile. My skills include patience, kindness, nurturing, attentive and encouraging. Children who feel safe around those they can trust and explore and learn better. Watching children learn and look for approval is important. Providing them with a safe place to continue to explore and expand their imagination.
