About Alissa

Hi! I'm a mom of three teenagers, including one with autism, so I bring both personal experience and a lot of patience and understanding to working with kids of all needs and personalities. I also truly love working with babies and toddlers and enjoy all the little moments that come with caring for younger kids. I'm a certified teacher with a degree in child development, and I taught middle and high school for five years before staying home with my kids. In recent years, I've also tutored elementary-aged students, helping them grow academically and build confidence. I'm reliable, easygoing, and love creating a safe, positive environment where kids feel comfortable and supported. Whether it's helping with homework, keeping routines on track, or just having fun, I'm happy to jump in wherever needed! My availability can vary week to week, but I'm happy to be flexible with scheduling when given a little notice--please feel free to reach out and we can find something that works!
