About Alison

I have 20 years of experience. I started babysitting at 13 years old for families in my neighborhood & had a my first official job in the community at Safety Town Camp at age 15. Safety Town is designed to introduce all types of safety conditions to children (Stranger Danger, Fire Safety, Traffic Safety, Animal Safety and what to do in an emergency situation.) In high school, I also worked for the Sports Club of Novi as a gymnastics coach for preschool classes and then worked at Chuck E. Cheese as a Birthday Party Hostess until my early college years and even worked at Pump It Up (Inflatable party zone) for a time, as well. In college, I studied bilingual education at the University of Texas and got my bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education grades EC-6 with bilingual certification. I went on to get my masters degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Arizona State University and have a certificate of clinical competence in the field of Speech Language Pathology.
