About Olivia

Hi! I'm Olivia and I'm a Kinesiology student at Cal Poly SLO (for 2 more quarters) with the ultimate goal of becoming a pediatric physical therapist. I have taken several child development and developmental psychology classes. I used to work as a gymnastics coach, where I was the preschool program director, so I know tons of activities to keep kids busy, moving, and learning. I am fluent in Spanish and speak some German and know conversational ASL. I even spent a year after high school living in Germany where I taught English, music, and P. E. at the local elementary school. I volunteered in a special needs classroom where I discovered my passion for working with kids with special needs. I've been working as a lead physical therapy aide and a cat shelter manager for the last few years but recently decided to return to nannying. I was with my last family for 5 years, and was so sad to leave them when I moved to SLO. I live in SLO full time and plan to live here as long as possible :)
