About Alison

I have taken an interest very early on in children, going back to my preschool and volunteering my time. I have volunteered at both the CT Food Bank and at the Madison Senior center. I have baby-sat for three wonderful girls, and occasionally for two boys, as well as for neighbors and several other baby-sitting and nanny jobs. I am an animal lover, so pets do not bother me and I have also done pet-sitting and house-sitting as well. I enjoy fun projects, outdoor play, crafts, Swimming & sports or even watching a movie or playing video games. I love to engage children and to participate in the learning process with them. I try to be a good positive figure that they can look up to. I'm always thinking of fun and creative ways to both improve the quality of time that I am sitting to be a memorable, fun and productive experience. My philosophy with children is... I believe the right amount of attention and positive feedback to a child can really make a difference in their lives as well as build confidence. About Me: I have an Associate degree and am taking classes part time to pursue my Bachelor Degree. I have a valid driver's license and have had one for over 11+ years. I consider myself to be responsible, resourceful, committed, trustworthy and generous. I hope I will have the opportunity to show that to you and your family! I have references & a resume I can provide upon contact. I have no problem submitting to a background check upon meeting at the discretion of the family. ***Currently I nanny after school for a family in Madison and am looking to pick up occasional or date night, evening, weekend jobs. I am looking to make a long term connection to families needing occasional/as needed help!
