About Alison

Meeting seniors needs is an honor and a privileged. I have worked with seniors on and off for 10 years. During that time I have helped non-ambulatory clients as well as clients who have been injured and need extra help while they are healing, as well as clients who are nearing the end of their lives. I have experience with a hoyer lift, experience with diapering, bathing, cooking, cleaning, helping set and take clients to appointments, grocery shopping, helping clients enjoy a better quality of life, accessing things they enjoy like movies, museums, plays, and nature. I enjoy hearing the stories they like to tell sometimes, and other times I am grateful for the laughs we share. I think it's a gift to be there for someone who needs help, who is especially vulnerable, or might feel that way because of circumstances. My goal in providing care is to meet the need of each client to the best of my ability with a smile.
