I have made meals, taken kids to school, observed nap times, play, and instructional activities. I've taken a babysitting training courses. Ive previously worked in a kindergarten classroom. For two years I was a nanny for four siblings under the age of five. For five years I nannied a baby boy from the time he was two months until he was 5 years old. My previous job was caring for a baby girl from the time she was two months until a year old and her 8-year-old brother. I'm very experienced in caring for children and love to work with them.

It was an incredible joy and blessing to have Alison as part of our family for the year that we lived in South Bend. Alison was our son’s very first nanny, from the time he was 8 months to 21 months old, and we were absolutely amazed by how much he learned and grew because of her efforts and attention to his development. She would often bring him different books, toys, and creative activities so he could learn while playing, and she even encouraged him to help with house chores at a very young age! She also taught him some sign language, so he was able to communicate with us long before he was able to talk. In general, her warm and patient disposition is perfect for a child care provider working with children of any age — our son always felt comfortable and happy with her from the moment they met. Alison is also incredibly reliable, very easy-going, and flexible with her schedule, which made our lives so much easier. She was even usually available to babysit in the evenings when we needed a sitter. I can’t recommend Alison highly enough, she is just the best!
