About Alison

Hi! I am currently obtaining my Masters in Education through Grand Canyon University, global campus. I have achieved my Bachelors in History education with a minor in liberal studies and emphasis in human development. I began working with the youth in 2014 while I was coaching youth cheerleading. From there, I expanded my work experience and began coaching and directing the same cheerleading program, youth gymnastics, and middle school and high school youth group at my hometown church. Additionally, I worked full time as a nanny planning and coordinating sports schedules, carpools, playdates, engaging children with stimulating activities, preparing and serving nutritious meals, and taking care of light house-keeping such as dishes, laundry, and errands. this past year I began homeschooling a second grade girl and created thorough lesson plans following the second grade state requirements while also ensuring to focus on the students interests and preferred learning strategies.
