About Alison

I'm a community art teacher that enjoys working with kids between the ages of 2-11 years old. I'm a bit of a kid-at-heart and I enjoy getting into character during play time. I love working with imaginative and creative kids who enjoy arts and crafts activities. I have 6 years experience as an in-home health aide for a young adult on the autism spectrum for whom I provided general assistance and transportation. During these visits I would supervise and encourage my client during daily chores and tasks, including cooking, shaving, exercising, homework, social events, med management, driving to appointments, and running errands. I currently work with kids as an Animation Instructor at Greenbelt Access Television. If your child has an interest in learning about animation, I'm happy to share that with them!
