About Alisha

Hello, my name is Alisha, born and raised in Chicago! I have always had a nurturing and caring nature about me. Also definitely always had a humorous, curious, and childlike personality! I was always good with the children in my family growing up. After helping raise my nephew, I realized how good I am with children. I joined the childcare field a year and a half ago! I'm an assistant teacher at rainforest and I babysit for families! I find so much joy and purposefulness in working with children and helping them build that strong foundation! The foundation that will structure the rest of their lives. Joy in watching them explore, have fun, make memories, and grow. I am very creative and curious so I love doing art projects and science experiments! I am also a very active person which children love! So I'm always doing a lot of movement with the kids! I also love to explore and learn new things! That's another reason why I love teaching!:)
