About Alisa

Hi there! My name is Alisa and I have been a music teacher for the last 7 years, first in Newton Public Schools and currently in Lexington Public Schools. I specialize in elementary general music and chorus but have also taught band and orchestra, and even directed many 5th grade musicals! Working with kids brings me so much joy, and my background as a teacher, especially within the arts, allows me to incorporate my experience and creativity into my babysitting jobs. I pride myself on being flexible, hardworking, organized, and, above all, kind and caring. With a flexible summer schedule, I can be available whenever you need me. When I'm not teaching, I love spending time with family and friends, trying new restaurants, and traveling. My most recent vacation was to Japan this past April! Excitingly, I also recently got engaged in December and am currently in the midst of planning my wedding for next year! I'm looking forward to connecting and caring for your little ones!
