About Ali

Hi! I'm Ali, I'm 28, and I was born and raised in Maine. I've loved working with children from a young age, when I began as a mother's helper for a family friend at the age of 11. I worked for them every summer until my senior year of high school, and still keep in touch with them to this day! I've had extensive experience in diverse childcare settings since then and have worked as a lead infant teacher at a daycare center, a lead preschool teacher, a tutor, full and part time nanny, and a newborn care specialist. I've worked with ages 0-10, but my preferred age group is 0-2. I have the most experience and education with the first two years, and really enjoy the baby stage! I strive to plan and execute a daily routine in partnership with the family to best serve the individual child, allowing for lots of play, exploration, and encouragement of independence. In my off time I'm a huge reader and also like to cook, spend time outdoors, try new restaurants, and travel.
