About Alina

Hi! My name is Alina. I have over 7 years of experience working with families through Care. com providing childcare, household support, and pet care. For the past 4 years I've worked as a nanny, including experience supporting children with special needs. Growing up with my brother who is autistic and nonverbal gave me a lifelong understanding of patience, communication differences, and creating supportive environments where children feel safe and understood. I also have experience supporting RPM and letter board communication methods and helping children navigate emotional or behavioral challenges with calm, patient guidance. I enjoy creating a positive, engaging environment where kids can explore hobbies, stay active, and build confidence and independence. I'm also happy to help with light household tasks to help keep the home running smoothly!
