I'd describe my personality as compassionate, caring and patient. I started caring for seniors when my grandma got diagnosed with Alzheimer's in 2017. I assisted with toileting, showering, meal prep, medication administration, social activities, house chores and transportation. Because of her I grew a love for caring for the elderly. I then changed my career from sales to going back to school and becoming a certified dementia care specialist. Once my grandma went into a skilled nursing home I myself switched jobs and worked at a senior living community as an Activity Director.
