I'd describe my personality as empathetic, nurturing, and a bit silly! I know when to handle a situation seriously and help children communicate their emotions in healthy ways but I know when it's appropriate to laugh things off as well. My first job with children was an after school program coordinator for Willow Elementary. I loved that job and how rewarding it was but sadly my time was cut short due to COVID. After that I was a nanny for 3 boys, which was my favorite job ever! I cooked for the entire family, organize sports schedules, did grocery shopping/errands, helped with homework and projects, and did drop offs/pick ups. One thing you should know about me is that I am a big believer in gentle parenting and Reggio Emilia. I think children are smarter than we give them credit for and can learn a lot on their own! I am not a "helicopter" type of caregiver and believe that children should be able to learn by exploring (so long as they are not harming themselves or others).
