I am a responsible, honest, and experienced caregiver who adores children, and helping them grow up. I raised 5 children of my own, and 8 grandchildren! I like working with kids because of their curiosity. I enjoy doing arts and crafts, singing and going for walks, as well as just playing with young ones and supervising their exploration of the world. I'm looking for a job with a nice family, where there is mutual respect. In my spare time, I like to rest instead of watch tv, run, exercise and sing. One thing you should know about me is I am very responsible, and I am a team player. While my main focus is taking care of children, I am of course happy to help with related things around the house, like cooking and cleaning for the children. Alida, who we affectionately call Lili, took care of my toddler son and helped me around the house. She also cooked and prepared meals for my 77 year old mother. Lili is hardworking, honest, sweet, reliable and truly a joy to have around. She has a wonderful disposition, is always happy and smiling and is terrific with kids. She knows how to keep children engaged with arts and crafts, making beautiful shapes out of clay, playing basketball with them and exploring the outdoors. Lili is neat and tidy and always made sure to leave the house clean before she left. She started early in the morning and was always punctual. Last fall I had to travel for a family emergency and left my two children behind. Lili was there for me in a heartbeat when I asked her to stay with my kids and they had the best time! I love that she teaches my son Spanish and has a beautiful singing voice. I trust Lili with my children and elderly mother and couldn’t recommend her more highly!
