Hi, my name is Alicia, I have been working in Early Childhood Education for nearly 7 years now. I have worked with children of all ages (infants through elementary/ middle school age). However, I Mainly have most of my experience in a preschool/ Pre-K setting. I have a college degree in Early Childhood Education. I have tons of experience in strategically planning age appropriate, engaging lesson plans for my students. I also am a team player and have experience in juggling needs of many children at once. I have nannying and babysitting experience as well. I am currently a stay at home mom to my 2-year-old daughter. I am looking forward to getting back into doing what I love! Alicia has cared for my 1-year-old son a few times so far, and we have been so very pleased with the care she has provided. I was very nervous to leave my son with someone new, particularly considering we have a rather rowdy group of pets that require management as well. Alicia was accepting and flexible in addressing the needs of our chaotic household, and provided excellent care for my son. She has always been very polite, communicative, and punctual. In advance of the first time caring for my son, she requested information about his typical schedule so she could best meet his needs. On one occasion we were booked with her for a Friday and when her family became sick earlier in the week, she gave me a heads up just in case she also got sick so that I had time to make other arrangements. It was very much appreciated keeping me updated so that we weren't caught off-guard. We intend to continue working with Alicia and would have no reservations about recommending her to others!
