About Alicia

Hello, families! My approach to caring for children is deeply rooted in research and evidence-based practices. My 9-5 work during the weekdays is focused on developing high quality training and professional development courses for early childhood professionals including early interventionists, early childhood educators, families, and community members. I also write and develop courses for supporting young children with disabilities, including Autism Spectrum Disorder. I am deeply passionate about core developmentally appropriate practices for young children such as incorporating serve and return, using play to support a variety of skills, and modeling communication to support language development. When I'm not writing courses, I can generally be found tending to a jungle of plants, caring for an elderly English Bulldog, snuggling with my two cats, or baking bread for my now adult children.
