About Alicia

I have worked with children since graduating from High School. Not only do I have a 4-year-old child of my own, but I have worked in childcare facilities off and on since 2003. My initial childcare job was for a short while during college and later accepted a Pre-Kindergarten Group Leader position. Upon deciding a career change from elementary education to Sociology, I completed half of my Liberal Studies degree for Elementary Education. During my college career I participated within Elementary schools for hands on student teaching. I also acted as a teacher's aide for while attending my Senior year of high school. I have been around daycare my entire life and helped raise my younger brother since I was in Middle school. While attending college, I worked in an Obstetrical and Gynecological office as the main nurse caring for pregnant women and newborns. I also assisted in numerous deliveries and cesarean operations at a Medical Center during my employment. I am currently certified in CPR and work in a gastroenterology office.
