About Alexus

I am a Cincinnati ADN nursing student, licensed nurse aide, and mom of three. My calling became personal when my son was born at 25 weeks, surviving a stroke with resulting cerebral palsy. Navigating his medical needs alongside my two other children--then working on the provider side of the bed--transformed my perspective. I excel at multi-child care, including mixed medical/typical dynamics. Having personally survived the heartbreak of infant loss, I also specialize as a night nanny providing overnight care for postpartum moms navigating birth after the death of a previous child. I bring deep, lived empathy to this role. I pivot toward pediatric medical needs but welcome all families. Skills: STNA, CPR/BLS. Vitals, meds, PureWick, catheter/ostomy, documentation, transfers, exercises, hair braiding, de-escalation, routines, meal prep, light cleaning. Nonsmoker. Pets/smokers ok. Total peace of mind!
