About Alex

I am a kindergarten teacher (out of professional work due to school closures), seeking a nanny job! I have years of experience working in various schools with various ages, mostly TK-kinder (but have also worked as a substitute teacher and tutor for preteens). I chose this career path because I am passionate about children being cared for properly, and I believe I have very warm, loving, and fun energy. I believe in learn through play, and am absolutely interested in (and well experienced in) providing educational support while integrating all sorts of fun activities. On top of teaching in schools, I have worked at several art and adventure camps throughout the years, so I have tons of creative activities up my sleeve! I am a huge fan of art and athletics, especially with children! I am happy to do various arts/crafts with the kids, as well as play sports outside while also integrating educational activities.
