About Alex

Hi!! My name is Alex. I am a second-year graduate student in the Masters of Speech-Language Pathology program at Florida State University. I hope to practice pediatric speech therapy one day! As part of my graduate program, I participate in clinical rotations at the FSU Speech and Hearing Clinic. I have been on two child rotations and have worked with children of all ages with various developmental and intellectual disabilities. As part of my coursework, I have also received a recent background check with Leon County Schools. Additionally, I am currently an ASL tutor for high school students. I played volleyball for many years and love being active! As far as my experience, I have babysat for many families with children of all ages. I also grew up watching over my younger brother and cousins. Additionally, I have taken 6 years of ASL and consider myself conversationally fluent in the language. I am comfortable with transportation, pets, helping with homework, and light housework too!
