About Alex

Hi, my name is Alex, but I prefer to go by Ally! I have a gentle child-led approach to caregiving. I am trained in the RIE philosophy and tend to use a mix of RIE, reggio, and montessori philosophies. I was previously the nanny to two energetic toddlers. After my kiddos went off to daycare, I got a position as an infant teacher. My center uses the RIE philosophy with our students and uses play based learning. As well as working I am also a full-time student at PCC. I'm currently attending PCC to work towards my degree in Early Childhood Education. I am also CPR certified, have my food handlers card, and keep up to date on my trainings as needed to be a teacher (24 hours a year of early childhood training). I am looking for occasional date nights and am also open to more of a traditional nanny job as well (at least 24 hours a week). I look forward to hearing from and meeting your wonderful families!
