Hi there! My name is Lexi and I am a 21-year-old recent college graduate with my BAS in early childhood education and special education. I am currently living in Port Richmond, Philadelphia, and I'm looking for a summer job before I begin my first year of teaching Pre-K. My experience working with children began when I was 12. I babysat quite often, and I have worked at 3 different daycares (two near college, and one on Long Island). I'm not one of those babysitters that just strictly watches kids; I enjoy playing with them and providing them with as much entertainment as I can! I also have had babysitting jobs where I help clean, take the kids to their activities, or simply house sit when the family is on vacation. I have my PA clearances, CPR and first aid certification, and some references if needed.

Lexi is a phenomenal babysitter. She is dependable, punctual, and intentional in her approach to babysitting children. Lexi babysat our daughter (1.5yrs old at the time) for the better part of a year until she graduated from college and moved away. During that time she became one of our go-to people for any extra hours because she was such a great sitter. While Lexi is super responsible, I think what makes her stand out is the care and intentional that she showed while caring for our daughter. She was patient and took the time to turn play and reading time into a time that would help our daughter learn those primary skills that begin to develop between 1 and 2 years. Even in babysitting Lexi used her training as an elementary ed major to do more than just "watch" our daughter. We would hire Lexi again in a heartbeat if she was still in the area!
