About Alexis

With a strong foundation in education and a passion for helping students succeed, I bring years of tutoring experience to the table. My journey began in high school where I provided tutoring services through the A+ program and the Salvation Army. Since earning my associate degree, I've continued to tutor privately through various internet platforms, as well as through referrals from colleagues and friends. I plan on continuing through my continued education at UCSD next year. I specialize in tutoring math, science, english, art, and psychology. My approach is highly student-focused, aiming to make learning both understandable and engaging. I emphasize innovative methods tailored to each student's unique learning style. I currently work as a Behavior Technician, which allows me to bring in an arsenal of skills that prompt deeper understanding and patience with younger students of all abilities.
