About Alexis

Hi there! I recently finished grad school at USC and have undergraduates degrees in history and journalism from USC as well. I have several years of childcare experience, including with my four younger brothers! I'm CPR/First Aid certified and am a very safe driver (no accidents or violations). I've tutored high school and college students in English, writing, U. S. history, global history, law, political science and journalism. Ive also worked as a teaching assistant, grader and college essay editor. Professionally, I've written and worked for the LA Times, CNN, the Department of State and several human rights NGOs. I'd describe my personality as energetic, reliable and compassionate. I'm looking for a job that has a friendly environment, kind people and openness to new ideas! In my spare time, I like to be active and keep my brain engaged! I run, rock climb, hike and train martial arts. I also play guitar and piano, collect vintage stamps and learn new recipes.
