Hello! My name is Alex and I currently work as an art instructor for SBEV Chicago teaching art to grades K-8. I'm approaching a year working there and in that time I've gained a valuable amount of insight into classroom management and creating engaging lesson plans across various age groups. I was recently CPR and First Aid certified through the American Red Cross. And previously, I worked full time as a STEAM camp instructor for the summer, teaching classes like music production and Minecraft coding. In my personal life, I'm a visual artist trying to get a foot in the door and build an audience for their work. I enjoy things like reading, playing music, and going to concerts. I'm using this time in my life to explore different avenues and discover what I gravitate towards. If you have a child interested in private art lessons I'd be more than willing to create a lesson plan for them! I love kids.
