About Alexis

I have great experience in child care, tutoring, housekeeping and working with special needs children and adults. I'd describe my personality as companionate, trustworthy, attentive and patient. I like working with kids because I have been a caregiver to children from a very young age as I am the oldest of a very large family and simply enjoy watching them grow and develop into confident and creative learners. I'm looking for something I can bring my 4-month-old baby boy along with me. I'm open to part time and full time. I started working with children when I was 12 and worked as a babysitter/house keeper. When I was 15 I became an assistant teacher at a daycare and worked with all ages for nearly 5 years. In 2020 I became a lead teacher in the 3-year-old room at Kiddie Academy in the Seattle area. In my spare time, I like to enjoy the great outdoors, paint, write and craft.
