I specialize in tutoring middle-level math: 4th grade through high school Algebra. I understand the standards and know exactly what skills your student needs to succeed in their math classes! During a typical tutoring session, I can help your child with their homework, check grades online, work with them on missing assignments, and review skills or concepts with fun math games! My goal is to help students master grade-level content, while also helping to fill in their gaps of knowledge for long-term academic success.

What can I say? Hire her immediately! I've had a lot of tutors for our kids over the years (we have 4 children), and Alexis by far outshine them all (and we've had some good ones). She tutored three of our children four days a week for a year (ages 16, 13 and 10), and she was amazing in every way. She was able to connect and communicate with each one despite their different styles and ages. She's well versed in all subjects and was able to work with them across disciplines. Alexis is punctual and extremely professional. She communicates what she needs, what the kids need, and how things are going along week to week. I wouldn't hesitate to hire her again and but for the fact that we now live too far to easily get to her, we'd still have her working with the kids because she is AMAZING!!!
