About Alexis

Hi, I'm Ash! (Also known as Alexis.) Some skills of mine include I started working with kids when I was around 13 years old. I was born in-between generations, so out of my cousins, im the oldest by a significant amount. This meant a lot of babysitting once my aunts/uncles had kids! I have 6 baby cousins now, with the youngest being 3 months and the oldest being 6 years. I am confident in my abilities to care for toddler and babies, and am building my confidence in caring for young kids. One thing you should know about me is that I am autistic. Because of this, I have an easier time connecting to and helping autistic and neurodivergent children than many other caregivers. I am also skilled in helping children calm down from tantrums or meltdowns because of this. I am also skilled in helping children develop healthy habits, and getting babies to sleep.
