About Alexis

Hello! I have been working with children for over six years and I especially love getting to interact with children personally. I am a sophomore at the University of Portland and I am in school to become a nurse; I specifically want to go into pediatrics. In the past, I have done various babysitting positions as well as working as a camp counselor and teaching Sunday school. I have been tutoring elementary for about 3-4 years now and I started tutoring at the middle school level last summer. I have been a tutor in math, English, and history in the past. I have also volunteered at my brother's elementary school and at Los Robles Hospital. I am CPR+AED certified as well. I just got back from studying abroad in Salzburg, Austria and it was such an incredible experience! My most beloved hobbies include, singing, acting, reading, writing, and hiking. I also love being outside and making arts and crafts as well as trying new activities. Thank you so much for your consideration!
