About Alexis

Hi! My name is Alexis and I've worked with children for over 15 years, beginning as a neighborhood babysitter. In college, I was a teacher's aide with kindergartners, then became a nanny for several families before transitioning to social services. I now work as an on-call house mom at a maternity shelter, supporting new mothers caring for their infants. I have extensive newborn and infant experience but also enjoy crafts, outdoor activities, healthy cooking, and creative, screen-free play with older children. I value natural, clean living and am happy to help with transportation and light household upkeep. I've worked with children of all ages and strive to provide nurturing, age-appropriate care. I believe it truly takes a village to raise children, and I'm grateful to be part of that support system.
