I am a mother of a teenager and I also have an associates degree in Early Childhood Education. I am currently pursuing my BA with a focus on Elementary Education. For the past 6 years, I have been the owner & director of a childcare center. Prior, I was a 1st/2nd grade split teacher for two years. I worked at a star quality daycare center for three and a half years also at a NAEYC (National Association for the Education of the Young Child) accredited center, as well as attended a NAEYC accredited education program. I taught in a Head Start program (0-5) for 4 years. I am certified in CPR and first aid. I've babysat family members and extended family members for about 15 years. I have worked with infants to school-aged children. I love teaching, sports, being outdoors and seeing exploring new things. I have also found a love for children-based crafts.

Alexis is absolutely amazing with children! She has been in my families like for 4 years now and my son absolutely adores her! Alexis helps my son with his reading, writing, being responsible (cleaning up, etc) & with handling his emotions properly. She's been a huge influence in my son's life and she'd an a great asset to any family!
