About Alexis

Hi! My name is Alexis, and I'm a pre-med student entering my sophomore year of college. I have several years of experience working with children through summer camps, babysitting, caregiving, and most recently, as a daycare teacher. Working as a daycare teacher gave me the opportunity to care for children of different ages, personalities, and needs, including children with physical and cognitive disabilities. Combined with my experience as a camp counselor, I'm comfortable supervising multiple children at once, keeping kids engaged, planning fun activities, and creating a positive environment while still giving each child the individual attention they need. I am also EMT certified and trained in CPR and First Aid. I truly have a passion for childcare and love being someone children can feel safe, comfortable, and happy around. I'm happy to help with homework, activities, meal preparation, bedtime routines, and other day-to-day needs. I can't wait to meet you and your littles!
