About Alexis

I'd describe my personality as compassionate, caring, and honest. I like working with kids because caring for them is refreshing and provides the caregiver an opportunity to help children become the best version of themselves. I'm looking for a job that provides an understanding environment. I started working with kids when I was around 11-years-old. I am currently a nanny for a 2-year-old and enjoy engaging in activities and promoting growth. I formerly worked as a domestic violence advocate/case manager. In my spare time, I like to relax at home. I enjoy smooth jazz, bossa nova, samba, psychedelic and other music genres. One thing you should know about me is that I was a MSW student and am considering returning to finish. I can provide exceptional care to your child. I was also a lifeguard in high school and swimmer for 15 years. My skills include the ability to determine a child's needs, engage in stimulating activities with them, and provide a safe environment.
