I have 11 years of working with children and adults of all ages, and varying degrees of cognitive and physical capabilities. I honed my ability to connect with others through my journey in training and teaching Systema, a Russian martial art that focuses on developing the entirety of an individual through breathing, movement, strength training, and emotional control. In addition I have experience teaching swim lessons, physical fitness for adults & children, balance & coordination, and soccer training. With my experience, I can lead and assist in various roles for your family. My expertise covers an array of skills such as nannying, tutoring, mentorship, along with giving your child(ren) someone to help burn extra energy. I approach nannying and mentoring with the warmth of a big brother to better help children feel safe, comfortable, and speak into their lives. For example it allows me to guide them in their tasks and goals by approaching tasks with an upbeat and fun attitude.

Alex is amazing with kids! He knows how to keep kids engaged and on task while having fun. He is also very knowledgeable on myriad of subjects. He can speak to most any of my daughter’s endless questions. My daughter’s father lives out of state—having Alex in her life as a positive male role model is such a blessing. He is respectful, kind, playful, energetic, firm when needed, consistent, and truly has a heart for children. He is receptive when I inform him on what I’m working on at home with my daughter and he supports me in my efforts, maximizing the results. It’s so helpful having another adult I know I can trust speaking into my daughter’s life in a positive way.
