About Alex

I'd describe my personality as creative, communicative, & ambitious! I like working with kids because they're little sponges that you can visibly watch as they soak in the world around them. It's incredible to play a positive role in their development! I'm looking for a job that allows space for me to pursue my teaching credentials/masters program! I started working with kids when I was in middle school with babysitting! I have since worked with kids (5-18y/o) as a coach at a youth athletic center, as well as being an aide in my coursework. In my spare time, I like to rock climb, create art, play games, & spend time with my family! One thing you should know about me is I love a good, thought out plan- I will always try to create full itineraries for my time with your children that is not based in screen time! I would say that my top skills are my patience, rule-setting & consistency, and that I can adapt/problem solve when it comes to unexpected situations!
