About Alexa

I'd describe myself as levelheaded, easy going, and understanding. Working with kids is a great source of joy. I love seeing them shine when they are doing something that they enjoy and thrive when they find things that they excel at. I've been working with kids for as long as I can remember. I was the oldest of 4 children with a single mom, so I played a large part in caring for my siblings growing up. I was a trusted babysitter as a teen and now have a 13-year-old daughter. I have been working in pediatrics for all of my adult life, was a Girl Scout leader for 8 years, and coached softball. In my spare time, I like to read, catch up with my friends, and tackle projects at home with my husband. One thing you should know about me is that I will care for your child(ren) as if they are my own. They will always be taken care of and in good hands. My skills include being silly, promoting kindness, and teaching accountability and that actions have consequences.
