About Alexa

Hi there! My name is Alexa and my husband and I have been living here in San Diego & are originally from Ohio! I have always been involved in childcare from babysitting gigs, tutoring, day-care settings, to regular nanny-jobs. I have experience with all ages newborn-early teens, but especially love to work with newborns-toddlers! I have two families I work with now, one with a 5 going on 6-year-old whom I have been with since they were 3. So due to his new independence, I'm there significantly less and now more frequently hanging with a sweet 13-month-old! I have been with this family for about 6 months. My weeks are pretty full so I am searching for very part-time positions :) My rates start at $25 for one child. My focus is on giving your child a safe, routine-focused and creative space to learn and grow. I love to encourage sensory play, music & outings when appropriate. I'm firm but kind and willing to work with challenges your child may face. I look forward to meeting you!
