About Alexandria

Hi, my name is Alex! I am a recent graduate of Alverno College in where I obtained a degree in music therapy and I moved to the Kalamazoo are in January. I worked at a daycare all through college caring for children as young as 4 months old to 8 years old. Through my education I also have three different practicum experiences involving children of varying developmental needs and ages. After growing up in a large family, surrounded by children and working with children for most of my adult life I am confident in my ability to create a healthy, fun and safe environment for children under my care. Training in childhood development and music therapy with a focus on using music to help children and young adults has given me the ability to care for children in a way that supports their mental physical and emotional well-being as well as their growth into capable and confident kids/teenagers.
