Alexandra N. (Lexi) has been our nanny since February 1, 2022 until presently. She has cared for our 3 year old son since he was 7 months old and our 5 year old son since he was 3. Her duties include general care for the children, meal preparation, grocery pick-up, laundry, and pick-up/drop-off at daycare for our oldest. Lexi develops and implements social, emotional, and physical activities for the children to participate in daily. Some of these activities include arts and crafts, learning letters and numbers, playing at the park, reading books, swimming, and other fun excursions like taking the kids to the zoo or farm. Lexi has an incredible work ethic, is patient, calm, and intuitive. Lexi has been on time and/or early nearly everyday she has worked for us in the past two and a half years. She is dependable and trustworthy. She has handled challenging situations with our strong-willed children with a patience and calm that helps validate their big feelings while holding appropriate and safe boundaries. Lexi is intuitive, as evidenced by how she is able to pack the diaper bag without being told exactly what needs to be put in it. Lexi helped us immensely in potty training our 3-year-old. She made the experience fun for our son and gave us a lot of support in the process. During Lexi’s time with us, we went through a very difficult loss in our family. Lexi’s empathy and the way she showed up for us and the kids made the biggest difference for us. She helped us pack for trips, organized all of our closets, cleaned our kitchen, and went above and beyond in so many ways that helped us feel supported. Lexi has become a part of our family and we are incredibly saddened to see her go due to our youngest starting school. We know that she will bring so much joy to the next family that is lucky enough to hire her. I highly recommend Lexi to any family in search of a hard-working, kind, and creative nanny.
