Hi! I like working with kids because the opportunity to be a part of their growth and provide a safe and nurturing environment is incredibly rewarding. My top skill overall is patience. Children may need time to adjust to something new or they may have short attention spans and lose concentration easily. Patience allows me to remain calm ensuring your child's comfort. Compassion is another one of my top skills. Problems that are small to adults, can be gigantic to children. Something may irritate them or harm them in someway, such as falling while playing, they need to be shown compassion. My next top skill is communication. I am able to use basic language to communicate with children in a way that they can understand and relate to. In my spare time, I like to play with my 3 border collies dogs. They are super active and hardly have any down time, but still are the best! I also have a big house plant collection that is ever growing that I love caring for.
