About Alexandra

I'd describe my personality as generous, engaging, and hard working. I like tutoring because I enjoy working with students in small settings. Being able to work 1-on-1 or in a small group allows me to more deeply engage with kids and pinpoint what they need and what they enjoy. As a teacher I find joy in working with students to grow their skills and show them that nothing is ever fixed in stone. If they have goals, areas of struggle, or successes they want to build on I am happy to be a partner in their journey to improve. I'm looking for a job that allows me to work with elementary age kids or students in need of foundational skills in reading and math. In my spare time, I like to take my two children to local museums, parks, and libraries. I also enjoy baking and cooking for my family and friends. My personal reading interests include history and mystery novels. My skills include elementary reading, writing, and math as well as organization skills.
