About Alexandra

Hello! I am a first year student studying Neuroscience and potentially Biochemistry; however, I absolutely love the humanities. I speak Spanish and Polish. I adore exploring the complexities of thinking and learning. I have always loved school, especially writing, spelling tests, multiplication tables, language learning and biology. I have tutored officially since my sophomore year of high school, but have worked in classrooms helping other students (including those with special needs) since the fifth grade. I am especially knowledgeable in study techniques for students with ADHD. My approach is to patiently work WITH students' unique needs by being by their side as a resource rather than an answer key. I am available in the evenings during the week after 5:30 p.m. and all day Saturday and Sunday. I have my driver's license; however, do not have a car because first year students are not able to keep one on campus.
